Frequently asked questions

Short answers about features, accuracy, and data storage.

  • Do I need an account?

No. You can open and use the planner without creating an account.

  • Is my project saved?

Yes. Guest projects are saved in the current browser. After sign-in, projects are automatically saved to your workspace on the server.

  • Which tile shapes and patterns are supported?

Rectangular, hexagonal, and round tiles; straight and running-bond patterns; grid rotation; and horizontal or vertical orientation.

  • Can I add a niche, opening, or column?

Yes. Openings are excluded; niche and projection faces may use separate materials. Solid reference objects and glass screens are supported too.

  • How accurate are the calculations?

Geometry is calculated in millimetres and accounts for grout, adhesive, and tile thickness. Always verify site measurements and installation tolerances before cutting.

  • Does it work on mobile?

Yes. On phones, the 3D view and parameters use an adaptive layout. A tablet or desktop is more comfortable for complex projects.

  • How do I select a surface or element?

Point at it in 3D and click. A surface opens in the right-hand inspector; a niche, opening, projection, object, or glass screen opens directly under Elements.

  • Can I export the result?

Yes. After signing in, the green Download button offers the JSON project, CSV cut list, and PDF report. The orange Import button opens a JSON project.

  • Is my data sent to a server?

Guest project data stays in the browser. After sign-in, your projects are saved on the server and can only be accessed by your account.

Check your next layout before the first cut.
