Beta 0.0.5 — Undo, pricing, and AI Builder in testing

Any change can now be undone, the cut list exports as a spreadsheet, and the planner has a community next to it. Walls gained a thickness, a back face, and any turn angle — a partition with a door and a cut room corner are finally built as they are. In parallel we are testing AI Builder — an assistant that builds a room from a plain-words description.
- Undo and redo — up to 100 steps, with Ctrl + Z and Ctrl + Shift + Z (Cmd on a Mac). Several quick edits to the same field are undone in one move instead of digit by digit.
- AI Builder, in testing. Describe the room in plain words — “bathroom 1700 × 2400, ceiling 2600, window on the left wall, niche in the shower” — and the planner builds the walls, floor, and elements for you; from there you adjust what you can already see. Open to a limited group for now; we will announce when it works for everyone.
- The cut list exports as a CSV spreadsheet: sizes and quantities you can take to the shop or to the saw.
- A pricing page: what the free plan includes, how the paid ones differ, answers about payment, and the refund terms.
- A community forum — questions about layouts, wishes for the planner, and finished work. Links live in the planner, the dashboard, the guide, and at the bottom of every page.
- A separate contact address for showrooms, crews, and studios on the pricing page.
- Wall thickness. A partition can now be tiled on both faces — the wall gets a back face with its own tile, zones, and elements. Free ends are tiled across the thickness automatically, and an opening cut through a thick wall gets its reveals tiled.
- Through openings. A door or window in a partition is entered once, from either face, and appears on the other side by itself, mirrored. In 3D you see through it. Clearing the checkbox makes a blind recess of the depth you set.
- Walls at any angle, not only at ninety degrees. The turn is set with a slider or a preset — 30, 45, 60, 90, 120, 135, or anything from −179° to 179°: a minus makes an outside corner. A cut room corner is two turns of 135°.
- Scene lighting: instead of an angle slider there are now two modes, uniform and dimensional. Uniform shows the tile colour without shadows; dimensional helps you read a shaded wall in a closed room.
- Units — millimetres, centimetres, inches, or feet — moved into view settings alongside the other personal preferences, freeing space in the working row.
- The home page: a living tile backdrop and a clearer “Try for free” button in place of “Open the planner”.
- The language switch looks the same everywhere — home page, planner, guide, dashboard, and even the 404 page.
- The interactive example on the home page now speaks Polish and German in full.
- The guide covers undo and the lighting of a closed room.
- Corner margins were wrong where the neighbouring surface is left untiled, and for round mosaic.
- AI Builder added a second wall instead of configuring the one already there.
- A conversation with AI Builder no longer disappears: it is kept with the project and waits for you to come back.
- A thin object on a wall no longer sinks into the tile or shimmers. Objects and glass stand on the finished surface instead of the rough plane, so a mirror or a shelf a finger thick reads as clearly as a bath.
Beta 0.0.4 — Accounts, materials, and a printable PDF report

Projects now live in account workspaces, every surface can carry several materials and zones, and the whole layout exports as a detailed PDF drawing.
- Accounts, workspaces, and cloud projects: your work saves itself and opens on any device.
- A dashboard for creating, renaming, and deleting workspaces and projects, with search and a confirmation before anything irreversible.
- A project started without signing up moves into your account automatically once you create a workspace.
- A PDF report: the unfolded project, a page per surface with every cut labelled, the faces of niches and projections, and a combined cut list. Available from the planner and the dashboard.
- Local zones with different tile or no tile at all, plus wall tiling that stops at a set height.
- Separate materials for surfaces, zones, niches, and projections, with the option to configure an element’s main face and returns separately, and to give the side returns a different tile orientation from the top and bottom.
- Tile name or SKU and colour: matching material is grouped into one line item across the calculation, the CSV, and the PDF.
- Mesh mosaic by the sheet — the way it is sold: round or hexagonal pieces, the sheet size, and the spacing between pieces. Sheets butt tight and the pattern runs through the seam, because their edges interlock.
- Projections that meet a neighbouring surface: the faces of a tray, kerb, or duct that run into a wall, the floor, an adjoining wall, or a lower neighbour are left untiled, and the neighbour’s tile is cut around the projection and stops in front of it with a joint — the way it is done on site. “Neighbour tiled behind the projection” keeps the tile continuous when the sequence of work is the other way round.
- Solid objects (a bath, a boxed-in pipe, furniture) and glass partitions with size, thickness, and rotation, plus their own names and colours in 3D.
- An option to leave the area under an object untiled, and copying tile settings between surfaces without touching their geometry, zones, or elements.
- Totals for the selected surface or the whole project, with separate figures and a cut list for every material.
- A “How it works” guide with search, interactive interface demos, and a questions-and-answers section in the supported languages.
- The dashboard, onboarding, guide, and 404 page now use the same dark palette as the planner.
- The CSV and the PDF account for materials, zones, and the new element types together with their faces.
- A workspace URL is unique within your own account, so names no longer clash with other people’s.
- Renaming a workspace or a project never changes its URL, so saved planner links keep working.
- The layout now shows the real width of the edge pieces, and “Symmetric edge cuts” gained two ready-made buttons — “Tile centred” and “Joint centred”. The second symmetric answer used to sit exactly at the end of the offset slider and was found only by accident.
- Older JSON projects open unchanged: the new modes never switch themselves on.
- The floor tile grid lines up with the grid of the wall it is attached to, so the joint meets in the corner.
- Removed the double outline that appeared around focused input fields.
- The 404 page no longer flashes a loading indicator.
Beta 0.0.3 — Freeform floors and more precise drafting

The new outline editor supports rectangular, L-shaped, five-corner, and custom floors with an immediate tile-layout preview.
- A top-view floor outline editor with presets and freehand closed shapes from 3 to 64 corners.
- Precise coordinate and side-length editing, dragging, adding and removing corners, chamfers, notches, and projections.
- Magnetic snapping to walls, endpoints, and intersections, with the option to lock the floor’s shared side.
- One continuous tile grid across concave and L-shaped floors, including rectangular and hexagonal tiles, patterns, rotation, offsets, and openings.
- Up to 100 undo steps, outline validation before applying, area and perimeter totals, and a “Fit all surfaces” command.
- Outline changes now stay in a separate draft and reach the project only after you select Apply.
- The editor is adapted for phones and tablets with large touch targets, compact labels, and a scrollable precision panel.
- Secondary explanations now use contextual help, while the viewport includes a subtle mouse and touch gesture guide.
- The unit selector is more compact: choose Metric or Imperial first, then one of its two units, with responsive placement for narrower screens.
- Floor outlines are preserved in local projects and JSON exports while remaining compatible with older rectangular floors.
Beta 0.0.2 — Flexible surfaces and a clearer 3D view

Layometry enters public beta: the full tile-planning cycle, from real-world measurements to an actionable 3D cut list.
- Connected surfaces: walls inline or at 90° plus a floor in front, with shared-edge height inheritance and grout-aware junctions.
- Uneven surfaces from four measurements: wedge-shaped edge cuts absorb the skew while the grid stays level and plumb.
- Surface elements: openings (windows, fixtures), niches with tiled returns and back wall, and projections or columns tiled on every visible face.
- 45° mitres on outer corners with grout along the edge, and return strips calculated from tile and adhesive thickness.
- Rectangular and hexagonal tiles, straight and running-bond patterns, grid rotation from −90° to +90°, manual offsets, and symmetric centering — per project and per element.
- Cut calculation in 3D: red waste preview, installed-piece and shaped-notch dimensions, and a consolidated cut list with CSV export.
